A few things
to know.
These terms apply when you use Docifer’s public PDF and image tools. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
01 Using Docifer
By using Docifer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. The public tools are free to use, require no account and add no Docifer watermark.
02 Your files and permissions
Your files remain yours. You are responsible for having permission to use, edit and share them. Use the tools lawfully; do not use them to forge signatures, alter documents deceptively, infringe someone’s rights, distribute harmful content or disrupt the service. Docifer does not grant permission to sign on another person’s behalf.
03 Processing and privacy
The public PDF and image tools process files on your device. Optional server background removal requires a preview and explicit consent to send a sanitized crop. Basic usage events and normal hosting connections are separate from your file content. See our Privacy Policy for details.
04 Check your results
Keep a copy of your original files and review every export. Conversion, compression and editing can change layout, image quality, text selection or other details. An added signature image is not a certificate-based digital signature, and Docifer does not verify identity or guarantee that an organization will accept your document. Local file screening is not a full antivirus scan.
05 Availability and limitations
We aim to make the tools useful and reliable, but they are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, error-free output or suitability for a particular purpose. Features and limits may change. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Docifer’s operators are not liable for loss resulting from reliance on tool output, interrupted access or lost files. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
06 Contact and updates
For support or questions about these terms, email contact@docifer.com. We may update these terms as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version. Review the terms when returning to the service.
