PDF editing, PDF and image conversion, compression, and Image Studio run on your device. These tools do not upload file contents to our servers. Working files and edits are held in the tab; download your results before closing it.

Optional server background removal

Background removal starts locally. If server AI is available and you choose it, you must preview and consent to sending a sanitized crop. The original document, full photograph and filename are not included. The endpoint requests no retention from its configured provider; this request is not an independent guarantee of that provider’s practices.

Usage events and connections

On HTTPS, the site sends basic usage events to help understand tool use and failures. Events can include a tool, file format, coarse file-size or page-count band, an error code and a random session identifier. They exclude file names and contents. Hosting and library providers receive normal connection information when the site, libraries or local AI models load.

Browser storage

Your browser can cache application assets and model files. Appearance preferences use local storage; a random usage identifier uses session storage. This is separate from your working documents. Clear site data in your browser to remove cached site assets and preferences.

Free access and file checks

The public tools require no account or payment and add no Docifer watermark. File type, size and structure checks reduce some risks; they are not a guarantee that every file is safe. Review exported files before submitting an application.
